For the eight years prior to his transfer to Harford County in 2003, Dr. Robertson was the Director of Plastic, Maxillofacial & Reconstructive Surgery at the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, also serving on the Medical Executive Committee. During this time, he served as the Co-Director of the Craniofacial Fellowship Program at Johns Hopkins and the University of Maryland. Dr. Robertson is a Fellow of the American Association of Plastic Surgeons, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a Diplomat of the American Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

The extensive training and experience Dr. Robertson acquired at a supreme, world-renowned medical facility proves his commitment to attaining the knowledge and skills necessary to provide the ultimate in technological advancements and procedures. A graduate of the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, he completed both his general surgery and plastic surgery residency at the same institution, working amongst top experts in the field. His role in industry academia includes a position as an Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in the Department of Surgery from 1992 – 2005 and a position as an Associate Professor at the University of Maryland School of Medicine’s Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic Surgery from 1999-2004.

Using his undeniable skills and innate talents, Dr. Robertson specializes in many areas of plastic surgery and cosmetic enhancements including abdominoplasty, breast enlargement, breast lift, breast reconstruction, breast reduction, facelifts, liposuction, neck lift, and lip augmentation. He has specialized training in microvascular surgery, craniofacial surgery and oral and maxillofacial surgery.
